Apr 26, 2023 · It's been five years since Korean-born, Los Angeles-based sound designer and composer Sae Heum Han, aka mmph, released his last EP Serenade on the Tri Angle label in flurry of activity.
It was a brush with mortality that forced Sae Heum Han, now based in Los Angeles, to rethink his musical trajectory. Three years ago he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that left him bedridden and exhausted, only able to work for an hour each day.
Seoul-born, Boston-based producer mmph (aka 24-year-old Sae Heum Han)’s debut EP for Tri Angle Records, Dear God, is out today and available to stream now.
