Paul Desmond (born Paul Emil Breitenfeld; November 25, 1924 – May 30, 1977) was an American jazz alto saxophonist and composer and proponent of cool jazz. He was a member of the Dave Brubeck Quartet and composed that group's biggest hit, "Take Five".
Time & Love is an album by American vocalists Jackie Cain and Roy Kral featuring performances recorded in 1972 and released on the CTI label. [1] Reception. The AllMusic review states "Although neither Jackie nor Roy do anything resembling jazz singing here, forget about categories; this is gorgeous music that cannot be shackled to a label". [2]
