    Merriwether St. John Williams (born March 28, 1968; age 56) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. She is a television writer and was a junior executive on Nickelodeon cartoons who issued network notes to the shows' creators. The first episode she worked on was "Karate Choppers." The last episode she worked on was "Pranks a Lot."

    After leaving the executive ranks, she wrote one episode of The Angry Beavers and was responsible for writing three-paragraph outlines for SpongeBob SquarePants. She performed the same work for Camp Lazlo at Cartoon Network. She has also written the films Good Time Max, The Ape, and Fool’s Gold with her actor friend James Franco. She also served as a story editor for the fourth and fifth seasons of Rugrats (1991 TV series) from 1997 to 1998.

    More recently, Williams has been a story editor for Camp Lazlo and Adventure Time, and has written a few episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Littlest Pet Shop (2012), Pig Goat Banana Cricket, one episode of Pound Puppies, and Aaron Springer's cartoon on Disney XD, Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer.
