Terug in Nederland richtte ze met haar broer Leonard Scarabeefilms op. In de jaren die volgden produceerde ze diverse films van verschillende regisseurs. In 2004 werd Hetty door het Netwerk Mediavrouwen gekozen tot Mediavrouw van het jaar en onderscheiden met de Martha Hering Broche.
