Abdellah Mesbahi (born 1936 in El Jadida, died September 16, 2016) was a Moroccan filmmaker. Biography. Mesbahi studied cinema at the École supérieure d'études cinématographiques (ESEC) in Paris and before a stint as an intern at the Théâtre national populaire.

Where Do You Hide the Sun? (Arabic:Ayna Tukhabi'un al-Shams?) is a 1977 Egyptian film that addresses the effects of corruption on young people with the solution being adhering to social values.
As a child, Mesbahi starred in the first two feature films directed by her father, renowned filmmaker Abdellah Mesbahi. In the 1980s she directed several short films and studied directing at Cairo's Higher Institute of Cinema, and psychology at Ain Chams University.
