Katsuhiko Haida was a Japanese film actor and music composer. He played an important role in the 1951 film Tokyo File 212. He also appeared in The Burning Sky, and Escapade From Japan. His brother is Yukihiko Haida, and they formed the Nihon Ukulele Association together.

Yukihiko Haida (1909-1986) and his brother Katsuhiko, both nisei (second generation Japanese-Americans), were the first uke ambassadors. Born in Hawaii, they returned to Japan as young men after their father died.
Katsuhiko Haida was born on 20 August 1911 in Japan. He was an actor and composer, known for Shinsetsu (1942), Mune yori mune ni (1955) and Kimi to yuku America kôro (1950). He died on 26 October 1982 in Tokyo, Japan.

Feb 16, 2023 · "Koryasa no Ondo" was written and composed by Hai-Katsu's older brother, Haruhiko Haida (灰田晴彦), later known as Yukihiko (有紀彦), in 1940. The older Haida would later be the founder of the Japan Ukelele Association .
DR. K. HAIDA [Katsugorō Haida] is the President of the Japanese Charity Hospital of Honolulu. He was elected by the Japanese Medical Association to this important position in October, 1908, but did not take charge of the hospital affairs until December 19, 1908, when he succeeded Dr. Oyama.
