He is known in the United Kingdom for his role as Calvin Valentine in the soap opera Hollyoaks. In 2009, he finished second in the BBC reality competition Strictly Come Dancing.
Ricky Whittle is a British actor who starred in American Gods, The 100, and Austenland. He was also a professional footballer for Arsenal and Celtic, and a model for Reebok.

Ricky was scouted to play as a professional footballer for Arsenal and Celtic football clubs but this was thwarted by injury and instead he went to Southampton University to read Law.
