Be with Me is a 2005 Singaporean drama film directed by Eric Khoo. The film is inspired by the life of deafblind teacher Theresa Poh Lin Chan. It premiered as the Director's Fortnight selection in the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. It was also the official entry from Singapore for the 78th Academy Awards in the foreign language category.
Meanwhile, Fatty Koh (Seet Keng-yew), the security guard, who is middle-aged, painfully shy and lives at home with his disapproving parents, is fired after falling asleep on the job.
Directed by Eric Khoo. Three tales of love wrap around the true story of a blind and deaf woman named Theresa Chan. In the first an elderly shopkeeper is devoted to his sick wife. In the second, two teenage girls become soul mates and lovers.
