    Robert Cawdron (29 December 1921-14 September 1997) played Dr Bruno Taltalian in the Doctor Who television story The Ambassadors of Death.

    He was best known for playing Detective Inspector Cherry on Dixon of Dock Green. He also appeared in several episodes of The Saint as the incompetent French police sergeant Le Duc.
