Biography. Born in Madrid, Ladoire went from being a construction worker in Barcelona, to being an actor and a film director.. He studied at the Faculty of Information Sciences in Madrid, where he was part of the Escuela de Yucatán group, and together with other students, such as Fernando Trueba or Antonio Resines, they created the magazine specialized in cinema Casablanca.
Ópera prima is a 1980 Spanish comic film directed by Fernando Trueba and starring Óscar Ladoire. It was written by Ladoire and Trueba. It is one of the most acclaimed Spanish Cinema films of the eighties. It is considered and iconic example of the comedia madrileña.
