Spencer Lam Sheung Yee (Chinese: 林尚義; Jyutping: lam 4 soeng 6 ji 6; 14 December 1934 – 23 April 2009) was a football defender, coach and announcer, as well as an actor. Spencer was a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong with an economics major.

Lam is currently a Professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Principle Scientist (joint appointment) of Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, and Fellow of the Singapore-MIT Alliance (SMA) Program.
Biography. Although born and raised in Hong Kong Lam Sheung-Yee played international football for Chinese Taipei at a time when Hongkongers were eligible to play for the team. He played international football for a decade and top division football in Hong Kong for nearly a quarter of a century winning every available domestic honour.
During this period, Kitchee discovered Hong Kong football legends Yiu Cheuk Yin and Lam Sheung Yee. Yiu led the club to its first two First Division titles and later became known as the "Treasure of Hong Kong Football." [5] .
