Yuji Suzuki (鈴木 有二, Suzuki Yūji, born 5 June 1949), better known as Guts Ishimatsu (ガッツ 石松, Gatsu Ishīmatsu) is a Japanese actor, comedian, tarento and former professional boxer who competed in the Lightweight division from 1966 to 1978.
Guts Ishimatsu was a lightweight boxer who fought from 1966 to 1978. He won the WBC and OPBF titles and challenged for the WBA and WBC world titles, but lost to Roberto Duran and Ken Buchanan.
Japanese battler Guts Ishimatsu won a lightweight world title at the third time of asking and went on to make five successful defenses during the mid-70s. Ishimatsu, original name Yuji Suzuki, was born in the city of Tochigi in central Japan on June 5, 1949.
