Sir Roger Alexander Deakins CBE (born 24 May 1949) is an English cinematographer. He is the recipient of five BAFTA Awards for Best Cinematography , and two Academy Awards for Best Cinematography from sixteen nominations.
Roger Deakins is an English cinematographer who has worked on films by the Coen brothers, Sam Mendes, and Denis Villeneuve. He has won two Oscars and is known for his use of spherical lenses and visual consultancy for Pixar's WALL-E.
