Adam Russell Hunter (18 February 1925 – 26 February 2004) was a Scottish television, stage and film actor. He played Lonely in the TV thriller series Callan, starring Edward Woodward, and shop steward Harry in the Yorkshire Television sitcom The Gaffer (1981–1983) with Bill Maynard.
Russell Hunter (1925-2004) was a Scottish actor who appeared in TV shows such as Callan, The Gaffer and Rab C. Nesbitt. He also voiced the character of Uvanov in Doctor Who audio dramas and inspired the CGI character of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings.
