Yasuo Yamada (山田 康雄, Yamada Yasuo, 10 September 1932 – 19 March 1995) was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator. [1] His most famous role was Arsène Lupin III from the Lupin III series, starting in 1971 and ending in 1995.
Yasuo Yamada (1932-1995) was a prolific voice actor for anime and video games, especially for the character of Arsène Lupin III. He also appeared in some live-action films and TV shows, such as Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979).

テアトル・エコーでは看板俳優として活躍。 特に、 1969年 以降は『 日本人のへそ 』『表裏源内蛙合戦』など 井上ひさし による多数の書き下ろし作品で主役や準主役を多くつとめた。 トレードマークとなった独特の髪型は、井上の『 11匹のネコ 』初演のためのもので、以後そのままになったという。 吹き替えでは、クリント・イーストウッドの他に ジャン＝ポール・ベルモンド も担当。 アニメ では、 1971年 に ルパン三世 役に起用されて以降、亡くなるまで約23年半演じる代表作となり、自身のライフワークとなった。 また、『 お笑いスター誕生!! 』の司会などテレビタレントとしても活躍していた。
