Edward William Shore (November 23, 1902 – March 16, 1985) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman, principally for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League, and the longtime owner of the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League.
Eddie Shore was a Hall of Fame defenseman who played for the Boston Bruins and New York Americans from 1926 to 1940. He won four Hart Trophies, two Stanley Cups, and scored 279 goals and 1090 points in 551 NHL games.
