Illia Yuriiovych Kovtun (Ukrainian: Ілля Юрійович Ковтун; born 10 August 2003) is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games. He is the 2023 World all-around silver medalist and 2021 World all-around bronze medalist.
In December 2021 the International Gymnastics Federation [FIG] included 'The Kovtun' in their Code of Points scoring system for the parallel bars. The element involves a back toss from upper arms with quarter turn to one rail, and has a difficulty value of C. He first performed the element at the 2021 World Challenge Cup event in Koper, Slovenia.
