Gordon Walter Johncock (born August 5, 1936) is an American former racing driver. He won the Indianapolis 500 twice, and was the 1976 USAC Marlboro Championship Trail champion.

Johncock’s margin of victory over Rick Mears in 1982 — only .16 seconds — was the closest in Speedway history until surpassed by the margin of .043 seconds in 1992. The 1976 National Champion, Johncock won 25 such events from 1965 through 1983, with 51 additional finishes of either second or third.
