  6. First novel by the extremely talented Sir Harry Secombe about life in Post War Britain starting up in showbusines, in particular Music Hall. Nove, fiction, but undoubtedly based on experience in doing just that. Beautifully written, terribly evocative of the era and a glorious read. Most highly recommended.
