The Dark Chateau is a collection of poems by American writer Clark Ashton Smith. It was released in 1951 and was the author's fourth book to be published by Arkham House.

Dusk Chateau is the twenty-first stage in Kingdom Rush: Frontiers and the third and final stage in the Shadowmoon mini-campaign. The secondary hero Lucrezia appears in this stage.

Wave Composition
During Wave 15, the Lycans will all appear at the very end, coinciding with the Full Moon effect. This will then stay in effect until the level is over. Following completion of Wave 15, Vasile will enter from the North and follow the western path. When defeated, he will return to the northern entrance then follow the eastern path. After Vasile's defeat, all enemies on the map will die, however, any Vampiresa still in flight will not be affected and will still need to be beaten before the level can end.

DEAD AND LOVING IT Defeat Vasile, the Everlasting Prince
•As seen with previous villains Vez'nan and Lord Malagar , Vasile will appear in the windows of his residence and taunt you.
•Hidden on the edges of the forest are references to well-known horror films. On the left side of the level is Chucky from Child's Play, on the right side is the hockey mask worn by Jason Vorhees in Friday the 13th and a stone slab bearing the logo of the Umbrella Corporation from Resident Evil, and near the bottom center of the screen is Billy the Puppet's head from the Saw franchise (briefly visible when Vasile first appears and all frames vanish from the screen).
•After Vasile is defeated, playing the level on either Heroic or Iron will reveal that Dusk Chateau has been turned into an attraction.
•Vasile is a traditional Romanian name (where Dracula is rumoured to be from), though nowadays it is mostly associated with older people and/or from the countryside.
