Angels Flight is a landmark and historic 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge funicular railway in the Bunker Hill district of Downtown Los Angeles, California. It has two funicular cars, named Olivet and Sinai , that run in opposite directions on a shared cable.
The 118-year-old funicular takes passengers on a short ride between Hill Street and Grand Avenue on Bunker Hill. Originally opened in 1901, Angels Flight ® — the world’s shortest railway — has given more than 100 million rides on its hillside track.

It links the Grand Central Market at the bottom to the Water Court shopping mall at the top, connecting Hill and Olive Streets.
Angels Flight ® is open every day from 6:45 am to 10 pm, including weekends and holidays. Fare. The fare is $1.00 each way and you can purchase a souvenir round trip ticket for $2.00 to take a piece of history home with you. A $0.50 Metro fare discount is available for TAP Card users with Stored Value for a one-way trip.

The Funding Company of Los Angeles, the 1912 purchaser of Angels Flight ®, sold the Railway in 1914. The 1914 purchaser was Continental Securities Company.
