Jan 16, 2019 · Tampines Junior College commenced operations with a pioneer cohort of 698 students and 33 teachers on 11 April 1986 in temporary premises. It was only on 20 December 1986 that it moved to its location along Tampines Avenue 9.
The subjects offered at TMJC can be found in Table 1, which also shows the level (H1 or H2) that the subject can be taken at. All subject combinations offered by the College are based on the guidelines from the Ministry of Education.

On 20 December 1986, it moved to its current premises at 2 Tampines Avenue 9. Designed by P&T architects, TPJC received the Best Designed College Building Award in 1988.
