The Tannery Row is the exclusive US retail partner of the Horween Leather Company that offers first quality sides direct from the Horween tannery. Founded in 2011 from the Horween shipping room, The Tannery Row has since expanded into its own space in the West Loop of Chicago.
Horween Leather Co. was founded in Chicago in 1905 by Isidore Horween. The company originally made leather strops for straight razors (which at the time, every man needed hanging in his bathroom) and leather for engines (the leather was used for gaskets and seals).
