Michael Gwisdek (* 14. Januar 1942 in Berlin-Weißensee [1]; † 22. September 2020 in Schorfheide) [2] war ein deutscher Schauspieler und Regisseur. Er spielte an der Volksbühne Berlin und am Deutschen Theater. Seinen Durchbruch als Filmschauspieler hatte er 1983 in Olle Henry.

Michael Gwisdek was a frequent guest at the Berlinale: as an actor in numerous films - including Good Bye, Lenin - and with his directorial works Farewell to Agnes and The Big Mambo. In 1999, he won the Silver Bear for Best Actor for his role in Andreas Dresen's film Nightshapes .
