The DCU Institute of Education is the newest faculty of Dublin City University and is based in DCU St Patrick’s Campus, Drumcondra. The Institute brings together students of education across all sectors from early childhood, to primary and post-primary, and further and higher education.
St Patrick's College (Irish: Coláiste Phádraig), often known as St Pat's, was a third level institution in Ireland, the leading function of which was as the country's largest primary teacher training college, which had at one time up to 2,000 students.

DCU has three academic campuses; Glasnevin, St. Patrick’s and All Hallows (both in Drumcondra), all close to Dublin City centre. They can be reached by public transport, Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann, with our Drumcondra campuses a ten minute walk from Drumcondra Train Station.
