Sir Philip’s interests include theatre, film, reading, open-water swimming, hiking. He has contributed numerous articles to law journals and books. Sir Philip Sales was educated at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford; Churchill College, Cambridge (BA 1983) and Worcester College, Oxford (BCL 1984).
