1935. Drama. 1h 5m. A counterfeiter gives up her life of crime and goes straight. She gets a job in a bank, but the members of her former gang hear about it and try to blackmail her into helping them rob the bank.
With Detective Burke on her trail, Gilda regrets her life of crime and tries to quit a counterfeiting gang run by Brewster. The gang's accusations that a woman lacks nerve sting Gilda, however, and she helps them rob Chester Madison's jewelry to prove them wrong.
