Drunks is a heavy intimate portrait of individuals speaking at an AA meeting interlaced with one of the members' escapades over the course of that same night after he walked out of that meeting.
The lives of Jim and other alcoholics in and outside an AA meeting. At the beginning of a nightly Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, Jim seems particularly troubled. His sponsor encourages him to talk that night, the first time in seven months, so he does - and leaves the meeting right after.
