Jamie Darricott (William Powell) is a gigolo living off gifts from the rich Mrs. Fendley (Olive Tell). Her daughter, Rachel (Carole Lombard), loves Jamie, but he rejects her. Then Jamie meets Norma Page (Kay Francis), the woman of his dreams.
