Bödeln och skökan är en svensk TV-film från 1986. Manuset bygger på novellen med samma namn av Ivar Lo-Johansson. Filmen spelades in i Visby på Gotland och Skansen i Stockholm. Hornborgastugan användes som exteriör för Bödelns stuga. Filmen visades för första gången i SVT 1 den 29 december 1986 .

Overview. Sweden, beginning of the 18th Century. Executions are popular entertainment and brothels a given. Still the executioner and the whore are both despised and shunned. The executioner became executioner against his will and the whore, only 17 years old, was forced into the brothel.

A film set in the early 1700s. An innocent man is sentenced to death on the charges of stealing silver. When the current executioner commits murder, he may have a chance to escape his own execution, but only if he assumes the executioner’s job.
