"Bird" is about an American who stumbles into a police search for a maniac murderer. Synopsis. Sam Dalmas, a writer from Philadelphia who is vacationing in Rome, sees through the window of an art gallery a woman struggling with a man. Suddenly the man, brandishing a knife, runs away, and the woman collapses to the floor.
An American writer living in Rome witnesses an attempted murder that is connected to an ongoing killing spree in the city, and conducts his own investigation despite himself and his girlfriend being targeted by the killer.
