Plot. In 1987, a young guitarist called Euronymous forms a black metal band called Mayhem, the first of the genre in their country of Norway, with Necrobutcher on bass, and Manheim on drums. Manheim leaves and is soon replaced by new drummer Hellhammer, and they recruit a vocalist from Sweden called Dead.
Metal Mayhem is the Americanized version of a Hong Kong film called Gen-Y Cops (sequel to the aptly named smash hit Gen-X Cops). It's unclear how the "Jackie Chan presents" label was justified, since he doesn't appear to have anything to do with the film.
