The Cat (Korean: 고양이: 죽음을보는 두개의눈; RR: Goyangi: Jukeumeul Boneun Du Gaeui Nun; lit. "The Cat: Eyes that See Death") is a 2011 South Korean horror film directed by Byun Seung-wook. The film is about So-yeon (Park Min-young), who works at a small pet-grooming shop called Kitty N Puppy.
Afraid and unsure of what this might mean, So-yeon starts investigating the mystery of the cat and the death of its owner when her closest friend, who has also recently adopted a cat, dies. ......
She works as a groomer at a pet shop. One day, a cat named Bidanyi comes into the store. The next day, the owner of Bidanyi is found dead in an elevator. So-Yeon, by request from police officer Joon-Suk ( Kim Dong-Wook ), takes the cat home.
Cats is a 2019 musical fantasy film based on the 1981 Westend musical Cats by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which in turn was based on the 1939 poetry collection Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. The film was directed by Tom Hooper, in his second feature musical following Les Misérables (2012), from a screenplay by Lee Hall and Hooper.
