In ‘My Father’s Legs’, Sara Perovic (b.1984, Croatia) explores the role of the male figure in the adult relationships of women. In her book, she combines newly created images of her partner’s legs with archival photographs of her father, a tennis teacher posing in specific textbook positions.
The works gathered at the Sara Perović’s solo exhibition My Father’s Legs are two interconnected groups of photographs evolving as series depicting details of male legs or entire bodies in different tennis playing poses.
For her project My Father’s Legs, Croatian photographer Sara Perovic takes family photos of her dad playing tennis and recreates them with her partner, placing the old images side by side with the new.
