This 1940 public domain film is a crime thriller about international saboteurs penetrating the US using faked passports. It features Jack Holt as a square jawed traditional movie detective. This is an old movie which was recorded off of a TV channel onto a home videotape, probably VHS.
Hollister arrests an agent named Reed and takes his place using the fake passport. As Reed, he is met by Karol Roy, an innocent assistant, who takes him to Fenten. Working undercover, Hollister is still unable to learn the name of the head man, not even from dumb gang-member Hank Kircher.
Assigned to track down a ring trafficking in the sale of fake passports to foreign saboteurs, government agent George Hollister follows a trail which leads to the customs inspector who has honored the forged passports.
