When a time machine accidentally sends him hundreds of years into the past, soccer pheonom Dolf puts his courage, strength and ingenuity to the ultimate test by joining brave Jenne and thousands of children from the Dark Ages on a pilgrimage.
After using his mother's newly built time machine to travel back in time and replay his championship soccer match, Dolf gets stuck involuntarily in the year 1212. He ends up in a children's crusade, where he confronts his new friends with modern techniques.
