Overview. Fleeing Troy in the wake of its destruction, fair-faced Helen and her faithful protector Arion run into the pharaoh Ramses, who sets his sights on Helen -- and is subsequently murdered. Now it's up to Arion to save Helen from those who wish her dead.
Aryan is carrying the weakened, ravaged Helen of Troy through the Egyptian desert en route to Thebes. The two have fled the Greeks who have successfully defeated Troy. But Lower and Upper Egypt are in turmoil with each part ruled by different pharaohs.
Set in the wake of the destruction of Troy, Lion of Thebes tells of Helen's flight from the vengeance of the Greeks, in the company of her loyal protector Arion (Mark Forest). She falls into the hands of the pharaoh Ramses, who sits on the throne of Thebes and is opposed by the aging pharaoh Menophis.
