Lightning (稲妻, Inazuma) is a 1952 Japanese drama film directed by Mikio Naruse. It is based on the 1936 novel by Fumiko Hayashi and was the second in a series of adaptations of Hayashi's work by Naruse after the 1951 Repast.

The lively music emanating from their place and the interactions with them retains Kiyoko’s hope for the future, although she learns from her mother that the vulgar baker has caused more damage to their family.
The story of Kiyoko, a young woman who has successfully managed to make a break with her dysfunctional family who have been trying to arrange a marriage for her with a disagreeable man whom she has rejected.
