Nightmares in Precinct 7 is a surprisingly engaging attempt at a supernatural thriller. Although the film isn't particularly scary, the actors' performances make up for the film's lack of chills.
An early predecessor to later Yau's fatal sense of duty, extended like a lifeline told through three disparate genres; earnest hospital drama reckoning with how time will always leave us behind; brutal police procedural determined to prevent a serial killer's rape & murder spree; buddy ghost comedy which acts as the mediator between the two.
