Apr 17, 2008 · Ignoring the crappy ending, Vincent Chiu is without question a talented director and his ability to capture the spirit of modern Hong Kong romance is to be complimented. While Love is Elsewhere, will not win any awards, and is probably not as good as a film that Neo is biasing about.
Love is Elsewhere is like the perfect fantasy of love in the big city: serendipitous and potentially exciting, but also safe and unrealistically uncomplicated. This is an urban fairy tale for young people who believe in true love but are too hip to admit it, and that probably accounts for a good portion of the paying - or maybe downloading ...
