  3. Jan 1, 1987 · Ford doesn't seem to really understand that Presidential humor should be the study more of the impromptu wit and humor than prepared jokes by a speechwriter. These type of jokes, while part of the humor used by Presidents don't really inform the reader of a President's personal sense of humor.
