synopsis. Zeki, a Turkish homosexual folk singer, travels from Amsterdam to attend an old friend's funeral in Germany. It could be said that this movie is just a predictable sentimental movie. But I didn't find it wholely predictable. The film maker was successful in keeping a substantial amount of mystery and uncertainty wrapped around things.
After the funeral of his former colleague Mahmut, Zeki, a 40-year-old homosexual singer, is given the task of taking Mahmut's now orphaned 11-year-old daughter Senay to her relatives in Turkey.
