Overview. The great hypnotist Professor Montserrat has developed a technique for controlling the minds, and sharing the sensations, of his subjects. He and his wife Estelle test the technique on Mike Roscoe, and enjoy 'being' the younger man.
1967's The Sorcerers is a genuinely terrifying film, one which portrays the era's much maligned youth culture with sympathy, while also engaging with the humanity and needs of people almost always marginalized or infantilized in mainstream cinema: the elderly, particularly elderly women.
