Murder at 45 RPM (original French title: Meurtre en 45 tours) is a 1960 French psychological thriller film directed by Étienne Périer and starring Danielle Darrieux and Michel Auclair.
Danielle Darrieux stars in this French thriller as a singer having an affair with her accompanist. When her husband dies in an automobile accident, the two lovers suspect each other of having murdered him. Soon after, they receive 45 rpm records with the dead man’s voice, threatening to come back.
Taking considerable stylistic and thematic inspiration from Henri-Georges Clouzot’s masterpiece Diabolique (1955), this little French film works hard to keep the pace brisk and the viewer attentive.
A famous singer (Danielle Darrieux) performs compositions by her composer husband (Jean Servais). He's controlling and cruel and she's having an affair with her pianist (Michel Auclair). The husband leaves on a road trip and is found burned to death in a wreck.

Composer Maurice Faugères is unhealthily jealous. His wife Eva, a singer, and her accompanist Jean Le Prat feel that they’re been watched and hunted down by him. When Faugères dies in a car accident, Eva thinks that Jean is a murderer. And vice versa.
