Wataru Mitani is a 14 year old boy who travels a world called Vision, as what is known as a low-ranked traveler. His wish is to bring his family back together. Wataru traveled vision with a waterkin Merchant named Kee Keema, a kit kin named Meena and an ankha named Kutz.
In Medieval Scotland, a young Princess Merida of the celt clan Dunbroch celebrates her birthday and is given a bow and arrow by her father, King Fergus, dismaying his wife Queen Elinor. In the forest, Merida encounters a will-o'-the-wisp and Mor'du, a huge demon bear, attacks the family.
Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse. Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, this movie features Princess Merida (Kelly Macdonald), an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of Queen Elinor (Dame Emma Thompson).
Brave Story is a 2006 an adventure fantasy anime film directed by Koichi Chigira, based on the fantasy novel by Miyuki Miyabe. The film was released on July 8, 2006 and stars Takako Matsu, Eiji Wentz, and Yo Oizumi.
