    • Rock House in Hocking Hills State Park. Distance from Downtown Columbus: 54 miles. Rock House is the only true cave structure inside of Hocking Hills State Park.
  2. Ohio Caverns is the largest known cave system in Ohio, at about 2 miles long (explored). It has lots of beautiful formations, cave pearls, stalactites and stalagmites, and crystals. It’s a show cave that offers guided tours. That means that the cave has paths (concrete), is dry, and is lighted.

  3. Strange commercial cave is fun but not very authentic. Aug 2022 • Couples. There's some historical significance to Olentangy Caverns, but the ‘cave’ doesn't seem very real with its concrete floors, strange lighting, and walls that are moss-covered because of the lights being on.
