The Wig ( Korean : 가발; RR : Gabal) is 2005 South Korean horror film directed by Won Shin-yun, and starring Chae Min-seo and Yoo Sun. It was first released on August 12, 2005, in South Korea and was released onto DVD in the United States in 2008.

Having lost her voice in an accident, Ji-hyun devotedly nurses her younger sister, Su-hyun, whose remaining time on earth is finite. Then one day, the lives of these two loving sisters change dramatically. As a present to fill the emptiness left behind by chemotherapy, Ji-hyun buys Su-hyun a wig.
The box contains a long silky black wig. Soo-Hyun, impressed with the wig, tries it on slowly. Soo-Hyun then looks at herself in the mirror. She is suddenly transformed into a woman full of life and a mysterious power seems to come over her.

The Wig. Story: After her chemotherapy Su-Hyun (Chae Min-Seo) is discharged from hospital. Her sister Ji-Hyun (Yoo Seon) takes care of her and tells her that she is cured, which is not the truth. To give her sister back her self-confidence, which is lacking because of her missing hair caused by the therapy, Ji-Hyun gives her a wig.
