  7. Apr 1, 2008 · Rereading The Blue Knight brought back so many memories from being on the job. Joseph Wambaugh puts so much reality and emotion into his stories. I would recommend any of his books, if you want to get a feeling of what it is like being a cop and what being a cop does to you.
