It’s time to dial it back to 2003 and Alibi. It’s the story of a neurotic businessman Greg Brentwood (Michael Kitchen of Foyle’s War fame) who throws an extravagant anniversary party for his wife Linda (Phyllis Logan of Downton Abbey) at their English country home.
It’s tough to describe the unusual engagement audience members will undoubtedly have with Alibi, a three-part miniseries from 2003 that’s now available on DVD and Acorn TV’s streaming service.
"Alibi" tells of a British businessman who unwittingly kills his wife's lover, is serendipitously befriended by a young woman who provides his alibi, and becomes becomes embroiled in the cover-up, police investigation, discoveries of more sinister malfeasance, domestic issues, and more.
