Pilgrims (Lithuanian: Piligrimai) is a 2021 Lithuanian crime drama film written and directed by Laurynas Bareisa, at his feature film debut. The film won the Orizzonti competition at the 78th edition of the Venice Film Festival. It was selected as the Lithuanian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards.

The perpetrators have been caught, the witnesses have delivered their statements, the jurors have deliberated and for the rest of the world, the case was closed.
synopsis. Indre and Paulius haven’t kept in touch lately; but as his foot is in a cast, she agrees to drive him out to a small town near the airport, where his brother and her boyfriend died. That evening they survey the air terminal where Matas arrived on a late flight.
